Kashmala and Firdous Scandal
Federal Minister Dr.Firdous Ashiq Awan and Kashmala Tariq of PML-Q used uncivilized language in a TV programme. In a local political Tv programme which was recorded specially on the occasion of "Democracy Day", the anchor of programme invited three ladies from three different political parties, Federal Minister Dr.Firdous Ashiq Awan who was representing PPPP, Kashmala Tariq who was representing PML-Q, Dr.Shireen who was representing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Kashmala and Firdous started blaming each other by using uncivilized language which never be seen on any Pakistani Tv programme before.
This drama of uncivilized language started when Kashmala Tariq blamed Firdous Ashiq Awan by saying her "LOTA" (the person who leaves one party by joining other) which Dr.Firdous Awan replied very quickly by saying " O' kashmala , At least I did not come from Heera Mandi (Red Light area in Lahore) and started my career as prostitute."

Meera Scandal
Fazl-ur-Rehman
Benazir Bhutto was the first female muslim woman head of a democratically elected government. During the second government of Benazir Bhutto (1993-1996) Fazl, the head of his own fundamentalist Islamic party, along with other parties, began to argue that it is was not allowed for a woman to head the government, but after he was appointed as to chair a committee in the National Assembly, he ceased raising the issue of whether a woman could serve as head of the government. This lead to the wildly held view that his change in attitude was a direct result of the appointment. Addition he was awarded a huge quota for Diesel fuel, which earned him the nickname of 'Maulana Diesel'
